Adult Education Opportunities

Kent United Methodist Church offers a range of quality small groups and classes to draw you closer to God and family!

Lenten SOUP SUPPER and STUDY

This Lent, discover The Life You’ve Always Wanted through small group study, and a Sunday sermon series based on John Ortberg’s book of the same name. Pastor Jon will introduce the series at the Ash Wednesday service on February 22 and preach on it every Sunday, February 26 through Easter, April 8. Many of our small groups will offer the 6-week DVD/book-based study and we hope to form additional groups that will meet weekly during this 6-week period! Pastor Jon will lead a Soup Supper group at the church on Tuesday nights, February 28 – April 3, 6:30pm – 8:00pm, in Room 18-19. Class members will be asked to take turns bringing the soup, the rolls, or the dessert each week. Contact the church office at general@kentmethodist.com if you are interested in joining a study group or if you can open your home to host a group, or if you could facilitate a group for the 6-week Lenten period. Facilitator training and all materials will be provided. Participant books will also be available at price TBA. Look for more information in the Sunday bulletins.
