Here is some info about us:

When are your Worship Services?

9:25am
11:00am
(coffee time following each service)

Do I have to dress up?

When you come to Kent UMC you will see people dressed up in dresses, suits and ties; in blue jeans and tee shirts.  Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable.

What should I expect when I get there?

At Kent UMC you will experience a very friendly congregation, wonderful music, and an exciting message that will be applicable to your everyday life.

If you are comfortable, you may introduce yourself during the service, but do not feel like it is required.
There will be greeters and ushers to help answer any questions you may have.  The people of Kent UMC are very friendly; we have coffee and fellowship time after both services.

There are many opportunities for your children and youth during the service.  During the 9:25 service we have Sunday school for students 3yr-12th grade, and the nursery is open all morning.  3yr-4th grade students should go to the service first, and will be dismissed to Sunday school after the "Time With Young Disciples".  5th-12th grade students go directly to Sunday school at 9:25am.

If you'd rather have your children with you, we have bags of goodies for them in the back of the Sanctuary.  During the 11:00 service children are welcome at the service, and the nursery is open to children birth-2yr.

When you visit us on Sunday, we ask that you fill out the guest registry if you are comfortable doing so.  You will receive a gift from us soon after your visit!
